CDU Psychology Clinic

The CDU Psychology Clinic offers a range of psychological services and treatments to children, adolescents and adults in our community.

We offer high-quality evidence-based comprehensive psychological assessments and psychotherapies. From time-to-time we offer group therapy programs to children and parents.
The CDU Psychology Clinic is a centre for training in clinical psychology. Our clinic is staffed by provisionally registered psychologists currently undergoing advanced training in clinical psychology and is supervised by experienced registered clinical psychologists.

The CDU Psychology clinic is located in the School of Psychological and Clinical Science, Charles Darwin University, Casuarina campus.

Referrals unsuitable for the CDU Psychology Clinic

As are a training clinic we’re unable to provide services to clients with acute and severe mental health conditions, for example: acute suicidal risk, psychosis, substance abuse, acute immediate crisis, criminal and violent behaviours.

We also don’t provide services to clients with medico-legal issues, compensation claims, clients undergoing family court proceedings and clients requiring long-term interventions. These issues need to be managed in more specialised settings.
